Decency Initiative is meant to create awareness on the risk of indecency seen in our society today. Lots of people have thrown caution to the wind and now do a whole lot of things without minding how it affect other people negatively.
Decency Initiative is meant to carry out research into key
areas such as: Self-esteem and empowerment, Sexual health and education,
Drugs and alcohol, Career path, Skill acquisition: Internet and computing skills,
General health and fitness, Growth and development activities, articles and
programs that will lead to the positive development of kids and teenagers; conduct
counseling and training sections on how to live a decent and focused lifestyle;
Having
personal constant relationship with Parents; Periodically demanding reports
from them to ascertain the level of the effect of the initiative on the kids
and teenagers.
I want to sincerely appreciate the few Nigerians who are change makers of our generation. They have in one way or the other touch other peoples lives tremendously. Watch out for the Nigeria Success Story Category to view this wonderful change makers of our time.
There is a dire need to create this awareness because if things continues this way, the younger generation who are the future of tomorrow are at greater risk.
Look at it this way; if we are all decent, there will be no sin, no corruption, no infidelity, no arm robbers, no prostitute, no embezzlement, no abuse, no rape, no murder................................
All the problems and challenges we face in life today is due to the fact that we are all indecent in one way or the other.
Hence; Decency Initiative is out to call our attention to the need for all and sundry to strive towards decent behavior in order to make the world a better place.
