WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN TRYING TO OVERCOME?

Hello everyone, it’s been a while. Today, I just want us to talk. Yes; discuss issues on why we are still not in the place we are meant to be.

The reason why most of us are still in the place we are, is due to the fact that we so much love to cover up. What I mean is that many people are unnecessarily secretive.

It’s a big setback to your progress if you are like that. This is the reason why I deem it fit for us to bring certain matters to the table and discuss today.

When I was still a teenager, I discovered that I love talking. It became very obvious that I might turn out to be a talkative. I was not comfortable with this discovery so I went to meet my dad of the blessed memory. After explaining my fears to him, he admonished me to utilize my ability to talk all the time positively.

He told me that if I like the teaching profession, I will do exceptionally well there. This explains why am still a teacher in one way or the other today.

Secondly, I was a snub in those days. Looking back now, I imagined how I was able to cope. I won’t say am an introvert because I talk a lot, yet I snub people all the time without knowing am hurting people who cares for me. I lost so many good friends because of this negative attitude of mine.

A lot of people are like me; they allow negative attitude to overshadow the goodness in there; thereby turning people away from themselves unconsciously. Some people’s own can be lying, others complaining, ingratitude and so forth.

Some other people’s problems are more difficult than ever. It could be one bad habit or a form of addiction. Recently, a guy opened up to me that since he was fifteen years, he has not been able to sleep unless there is a lady by his side. That is a terrible habit that he is trying to overcome now that he is a new creature with so much difficulty.

Then a lady wrote to me that her doctor says; she might not be able to live above forty years due to her smoking habit. So much damage has been done to her lungs already causing different health problems. She is thirty – four now and wishes to settle down and have a family to call her own but then her bad habit keeps turning prospective suitors off; so she needs help.

My dear friend, what is that habit that is keeping you from reaching your place of destiny? A problem shared is half solved. Say it out and do not keep it to yourself.

As you open up, I believed that; that issue will be too ashamed to remain with you because you are already an over-comer.
